It’s the HeartBeat blog, over at Little Works of Heart. Wonderful photographs and little inspirational quotes and postings. I’m not much of a pink roses guy, but it sure works in this setting for its author and, of course, for its intended audience.
I asked Susan how her blog had helped her sales, and this is what she had to say about it:
My blog, littleworksofheart.typepad.com has allowed me to play more and take more chances than my traditional online store, littleworksofheart.com. It’s very freeing. Each blog entry has a certain gestalt– not just the photograph but words and overall design. Blogging has enhanced my creativity, community and skills. As for sales, the blog directs traffic to the online store and vice versa. I consider it worthwhile PR and the sales from it are icing on the cake.
