At first, it seems no better than some child’s toy, but keep watching: it gets better, and then it gets amazing. Like any real instrument, the basics are immediately grasped, but when you see how the settings can be changed and how they’re applied and how the instrument is played, you realize you could spend a lifetime acheiving mastery. This isn’t played like anything else I’ve seen. I’ve seen touch pads on electronic instruments, but they’re nothing more than laptop touchpads. This is very different.

SICK! got an official name for it? looks very marketable to me. needs mulitiple colors first.
i dub thee… “Musagraph” like “muse-a-graph”.
There’s also another touch type synth out at the moment called Reactable, which does something similar only with mad building blocks that control the path of the sound
