Who’s Using My Themes? Citizen Journalists in India

I often check the incoming links in my WordPress dashboard to see who’s using my free themes (they all have links back to me in the footers). I like to see what people are doing with them. I especially love to see how people modify them. The other day it occurred to me that if I found blogs using my themes that I thought were notable, that I should mention them here.

Today I found the Citizen Journalism in India blog. They are blogging about the Mumbai bombings and requesting any info to be sent in by those affected. The post also lists help lines people can call.

They also have a page in their blog about the grim reality of the state of tigers in India.

So go check out Citizen Journalism in India, a blog that’s using my Sapphire theme (one of the themes you can pick when you get a blog at WordPress.com).

    Hi Michael,

I am myself using the Sapphire Theme. I was wondering if you could let me know how I could add a profile tab onto this particular theme.

    Cheers!

Create a page and call it “About” or “Profile.” It will show up as a bigger and bolder link at the top of the sidebar.

I’m using the Wordpress Sapphire theme as well. Pictures do not display properly when selecting archives. Thought you might like to know.

@ Alexander: Sapphire has just about lived out its life to the end. In “theme years,” it’s pretty old. I’m not fixing it or doing anything else with it, anymore. At some point in the future, I plan to come out with Sapphire 2.0.
