Anybody who’s been following this blog has no doubt noticed all the gear-shifting I’ve done as my interests change. I keep trying to hammer this blog into whatever-shaped hole I’ve dug for myself (how’s that for mixed metaphors?) and I just don’t think that’s a good idea, anymore. I’m into all kinds of things, and I’m constantly doing something online. I’m helping my wife launch an online tarot card reading website and working on some revenue-generating sites of my own revolving around Microsoft Vista, Office, and SharePoint-related content.
Basically, I’m too busy doing things to write about it, so this is the end. I’m retiring the michaelmartine domain indefinitely. Time to move on to the next thing, because that’s what I do. This farewell post is going to stay up for a bit, and then the only place you’ll find anything from here will probably be in Google’s cache. If you’re interested, keep an eye on the following URLs:

Okay, so I’m nothing if not fickle. Funny thing is, right after I wrote this as a goodbye post, I got the urge to share what I’m doing. Go figure. So, new deal: I write about whatever I feel like, and it’s going to go all over the map. There may be stretches where I don’t write at all. That’s just how it’s going to be. The next you’ll see here soon is a theme change as I ditch the whole fantasy/sci-fi thing. I don’t have a “thing,” I have a hundred things. The blog needs to reflect that.
