If there’s one recurring link theme this week, it’s SEO. That’s partly because the Search Engine Strategies Conference is taking place.
- Becky of Beginner’s Guide to Blogging has a creative and interesting post format she calls Tips via Images, in which she punctuates tips with vibrant, associative pictures. It’s a great lesson and example of thinking creatively and beyond the blogging commonplace.
- Bootstrapper, one of my favorite new blogs (new to me) has an awesome Woman Entrepreneurs Toolbox: 100 Networking Resources, Guides and Links. It’s another metalink! (a link to a list of links–now a link to a list of links of lists of links would be a meta meta link… I think).
- Ever heard the term “black hat SEO”? Ever wonder exactly what it’s about? Check out this excellent overview at ClickZ: Big-Time Black Hat.
- How to buy links without spamming by SEO Jedi Master Aaron Wall.
- The Wall Street Journal has a great article on small business blogging that is a nice compliment to my currently running series on how to start a business blog.
- Tad wants you to know that SEO is bullshit.
- If there’s one thing people feel there is a mystery about other than blog monetization, it’s SEO. Well, if you want a great education on the basics (and sometimes not-so-basics) I can highly recommend SEO 101. SEO 101 is all audio podcasts, which is a great way to digest the material as you multitask online.
