Common Craft is a wonderful site and service (yes, service) that produces these whimsical (probably the only time you will ever see that word on this blog) videos that explain things in plain English. Techy things, like RSS and Wikis. Many of you know people who don’t really get the whole blogging thing (sorry for all the technical mumbo-jumbo). This video is perfect for them. Just send them the link to this page and thell them to click the play button.

“Michael Martine is one of the best in the blogosphere.
His insights are impactful and on the mark. He's one of those rare people who understand the technical AND social side of the blogosphere. He's creative, and finds unique solutions to difficult problems. When he worked with me, he showed me some answers to questions I didn't know I had.”

What a find, Michael.
Quite amusing and well done. Short, to the point and kept my attention. I wonder what I could use them for?
Michael, thanks for pointing out this great video. I’d run across their zombie video, but didn’t realize they had more videos (and more useful ones).
Definitely an idea to file away for future projects.
@Aaron: Yes, the zombies one was cute, but they have many useful ones. If you search on Google videos, you will find they made one on Google Docs, too.
Michael, hi, thanks for pointing out not just this video but the Common Craft site. I went and checked out the RSS video - it’s a cracker - such a good way of describing these techie things to non techie people!
Martin.
