I have yet to upgrade my own blog, but had the opportunity to install WordPress 2.5 for a new client - it was nice to get a bit of a sneak preview before making the upgrade myself, lol. I admit, I think this version will take some getting used to - "old dog / new tricks" and all that, LOL. I'm looking forward to upgrading myself, though! Thanks for the overview! That said I'm not crazy about the widgets setup - it used to be so much easier with multiple sidebars.
