I shot some video of my trip to Chicago for SOBCon 08. In the video I said I would take a cab or something. Well, it ended up being “or something,” since a cab ride from O’Hare to the Loop would’ve been about $50 (so I was told). The Airport Express shuttle bus was $50 round trip, so my return trip is all set, now, as well.
One guy in the shuttle van felt entitled to much speedier service than he was getting. He didn’t like the idea that the driver went around to different gates and picked up more people to fill the van. I thought, “If you’re that important, buddy, where’s your limo?”
I barely got in when the first meetup was happening, but that’s the next post.
