The Best of Remarkablogger October 2008

The brilliant colors have come and gone, there’s a real chill in the air, now–no messing around! Winter’s coming. October has gone out in a blaze of glory like the brightest of autumn leaves. Here’s the best of Remarkablogger for October.

If there were main themes for October, they would be guest bloggers, blog traffic, and blog planning.

Guest Bloggers

I decided to have a whole week’s worth of guest posts on the same theme, and called them the Blogger Biographies posts. Both new friends and existing colleagues wrote some great posts about how they got started blogging and what it did for them.

Blogger Biographies Series: Janet Fouts

Blogger Biographies: Grant Griffiths

Blog Traffic

I held a blog traffic seminar and donated about $50 out of it for Blog Action Day (the economy tanked right before this so it wasn’t as big of an event as I’d hoped for–it was still a blast and those who were in it loved it!). Leading up to the seminar I posted some solid information to help bloggers better understand the mysteries of blog traffic.

Blog Planning

I think by far the biggest theme for October 2008 has to be blog planning. Blog planning has really brought my game to the next level and I shared the how-to of those gains with you.
