SEO is a Necessary Blogging Skill

Can’t see the audio player? Head on over to the blog to listen.

The other day I wrote that blogging leads to new skills. I asked you guys in the comments to say what new skills you’ve gained because you wanted your blogs to succeed. A good number of you said SEO skills were an important new skillset that you picked up.

Considering the success of my WordPress SEO Teleseminar, I’m not surprised. People are hungry for this stuff. In my audio post today, I tell you a little bit about a new course I’m developing that will soon be ready. It’s based on the WordPress SEO Teleseminar, and it will teach you what you need to know to improve and manage your WordPress blog’s search engine optimization.

By the way, this product already exists in pre-release form. You can get it for nothing if you buy Naomi Dunford’s Online Business School, because it’s included as a bonus.

Michael,

I purchased the Online Business School last week and have to say the SEONomicon alone is worth the full price of the whole Business School.

John, very kind of you to say that. Thank you! Send me an email and let me know if there’s anything I can do better.

Michael,

I love that you ask for that kind of feedback. Knowing what we can do better is the only way we can. Great job, as always.

Hey Michael, is there any way to get the link to your audio so I can put it on my ipod and listen to it on the go? Maybe I’m being a dolt but I don’t see it at the moment.

Thanks,
Bill

Bill, here is the link directly to the audio on Utterli: http://www.utterli.com/u/utt/u-ODAzNjU3Nw#utt-ODAzNjU3Nw

I don’t think it’s actually downloadable. Maybe I should stop using Utterli. :(

Well, I grabbed it using Audacity and it’s certainly a short one, but sometimes I like to listen to stuff a second time away from the computer.

Thanks,
Bill

@Takumi — You may be right in a sense, but at the same time, I think that knowledge about SEO is becoming more accessible to people.
